M&M Cookies
January 3rd, 2009 | Add a Comment
My sister got this m&m cookies from her co-worker. Only instead of a traditional cookie gifts you received on Christmas this one consists of Flour, Baking Soda, salt, sugar and m&m candies. Packed in a Very Cute jar with a piece of paper for baking instructions. It looks so delicious I just can't wait to make it.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup Butter, softened
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 cup m&m candies
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt into a large bowl and set aside. Meanwhile, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla into the mixture then add the dry ingredients. Stir in the m&m candies. Your dough should look a little crumply by now.
Place the dough into a baking sheet with wax paper and start cutting/shaping it with your favorite Cookie Cutter. Here I used cute little man =)
Place the cookies 2 inches a part and bake for 10-14 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
Cool and serve.
Enjoy!
